The 49th Annual Congress of IAMM, MICROCON 2026, organised by AIIMS, Nagpur, is going to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra, from 28th October to 1st November, 2026. Nagpur, India’s Orange City, is known for it’s temples as well as nearby Tiger reserves. I encourage everyone to attend the conference as it is an excellent opportunity to connect with our professional peers. We are also expecting plenty of scientific presentations and a good deal of participation in the IAMM awards.

My humble request to all the IAMM members is to update their addresses and e-mail’s for better communication and request the state chapters office bearer to inform the activities of the chapter at the under mentioned address. I request all the Senior faculty/HODs in various Medical colleges/ Institutes/ Hospitals to encourage their microbiology colleagues working in their premises to become life members of IAMM and will also like them to interact with the clinicians frequently.
